There are currently two hotels open on Barbuda. The five star Barbuda Belle resort re-opened after Irma and is as popular as before, with it's beautiful and extensive pink sand beach and the addition of a new beach bar, a short walk from the main hotel. Barbuda Cottages on the south side of the island are now open and both are busy and taking bookings.
Sadly, we lost Coco Point Lodge which was the first ever hotel on the island and has had generations of the same families as guests. The lease has been taken over by the Discovery Land Company who are currently rebuilding as Peace, Love and Happiness (PLH) or Barbuda Ocean Club.
North Beach was destroyed. The Lighthouse remains derelict, and Palmetto (the Beach House) is being slowly repaired. For other places to stay on Barbuda, see the guest house listings.
