There are currently two hotels open on Barbuda. The five star Barbuda Belle resort re-opened one year after Irma and is as popular as before, with it's beautiful and extensive pink sand beach and the addition of a new beach bar, a short walk from the main hotel. Barbuda Cottages on the south side of the island are now open and both are busy and taking bookings.Palmetto (the Beach House) is being slowly repaired.
Sadly, we lost Coco Point Lodge which was the first ever hotel on the island. The lease has been purchased by the Discovery Land Company who are currently rebuilding as Peace, Love and Happiness (PLH) with Barbuda Ocean Club, and selling leases to parcels of land for at least 100 residences at Coco Point and a further 395 residences at Palmetto; they are not definitely not a hotel.
We list more under Other hotels - North Beach, Lighthouse and K Club - but for other lovely and unique places to stay on Barbuda, see the guest house listings.
