This modern guest house is very well equipped with internet access, solar water heating and a pretty garden - also used as a wedding location for visitors getting married on Barbuda. It is central to village life, just a few minutes walk to Madison Square but without being noisy. Simply the Best guesthouse has two spacious newly built houses situated on the southern outskirts of the village. Each has two bedrooms with their own en-suite bathrooms. There is a spacious living room with a breakfast bar leading to a well equipped kitchen with flat-screen tv and fast wi-fi internet. The house is in the rural countryside on the edge of the village about twenty minutes walk from the village centre and is perfect for bird-watching and wildlife, with cool evening breezes on the gallery. Close to the historical Indigo Well area of the village, Hartford John runs a budget seven room hostel-style guesthouse in a quiet area of the village only a short walk to the centre. The rooms all have double beds and fans, and two rooms share a kitchen and bathroom - although there is no hot water supply. Mr John himself lives nearby so can assist with all you want to know about Barbuda while you are here. His rates are the cheapest on Barbuda at US$50/$135ec per night and rooms can be booked for long term stays at a better rate. He now has internet too. The Island Chalet has four double rooms (with double beds) right in the heart of the village of Codrington. It has a pretty gallery overlooking Madison Square so is perfect for sipping a cool drink and watching the world go by below. There is a shared kitchen and lounge for those who want to stay in, but you are close to the bars and barbecues that Barbuda is well known for, and only a short walk home, or to the beautiful Codrington Lagoon. Lynton Thomas's guest house is very centrally located in the centre of Codrington village and above a busy bar for those who like the Barbuda night life. There are three double rooms, each with a private bathroom, free internet and free phone calls to the USA and Canada. There is hot and cold water, flat screen tv, and breakfast, lunch or dinner on request. The rooms are US$96 for a double and $86USD for a single in high season, in the low season they are $86USD and $76USD, inclusive of all taxes and transportation to and from the airport or seaport.
