CJ's Diner

Fish, conch, and seafood are the specialty of Cerene Jeffrey at her diner next to the Green Door on Buffalo Road. Cerene also has spare ribs, all served with rice and salad. You can buy a tasty plate from CJ's on Monday to Friday from noon to 11 pm and why not have breakfast there on Sundays between 6.30 am and noon. Cerene can be contacted on 784 5396 and 722 9978.

Eda's Joint

At Eda's Joint in Eda's Mall you can sample traditional Barbudan food whilst playing dominos. On Wednesdays and Saturdays Eda prepares pepperpot, ducana and salt fish, and seasoned rice. You can order local specialties, for example land turtle, deer meat, and land crabs in season. Eda specialises in seafood; offering fish, lobster, and conch. Green Door Tavern

Byron Askie's popular Green Door Tavern is located in the centre of the village, at the heart of Barbudan life. The tavern offers alcohol and soft drinks with breakfast served for hungry patrons from 7 am. Start the day with liver, red herring, and Lingfish, with goat water on Saturdays and maw (tripe) and pepperpot.

There is a pool table and satellite TV, with a disco at the weekends. The Green Door is open 7 days per week from 7 am to midnight or even later. Madison's Bar

Madison's Bar is in the centre of the village at Madison Square. The manager, Pat Shaw, has a range of soft drinks, beer, lager, wine, and spirits. Pat prepares hamburgers, French fries, chicken, and spare ribs to eat in the bar or takeaway. The bar is open on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 pm to midnight, on Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 2 am, and on Sunday from 5 pm to 1 am. Pat closes on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wa O'moni

Jackie's pretty Wa O'moni restaurant (Fiona Jack)

Jacqueline Beazer's fully air-conditioned restaurant offers an extensive menu featuring the Barbudan delicacies of lobster, jumbo shrimp, fish (catch of the day), conch, ducana, and coconut dumplings. Jacqueline has salads, sandwiches, burgers, and desserts, including cheesecake, carrot cake and much more, together with local juices, soda, champagne, wine, and cocktails. Jacqueline will open on Sundays for private parties by appointment.

Wa O'moni, the Arawak name for Barbuda, sets an historical theme for the restaurant. Each guest is given a "trivia card" with five questions and answers about Barbudan history. A conversation starter and a fun way to learn about the past of the island.
