Ordrick Samuel, also know as Jicky or Montgomery, operates the MRS Radio Station from his home. He broadcasts from speakers on his roof on Monday to Saturday at 6.30 am to 7.15 am and when necessary in the afternoon. He provides Barbudans with general news, village information, notices, and birthdays. Every Tuesday morning Elder Mills broadcasts religious thoughts and music. Every Friday morning Pastor Ralph Payton of the Seventh Day Adventist Church advises on marriage education. MRS Radio also features guest DJs. Jicky can be contacted on 460 0087 within Antigua and Barbuda.

Some form of solar eclipse will be seen throughout the Caribbean, where 70% of the sun will be blocked by the moon between 5.22 pm and 6.22 pm. The best view of the eclipse will be from the west coast of Barbuda and Antigua or from a high area where you can see the west coast.

The Holy Trinity School Young Leaders are inviting you to a weekend of Caribbean cultural excitement over the Easter holiday. They will be presenting a poetry night, parade and opening ceremony, food fair, soca artists, and a triathlon.
Barbudans went to the polls to elect five new councillors to serve four-year terms on the Barbuda Council. All the candidates were male. The new Barbuda Councillors are Kelvin Punter (445 votes ), Courtney Burton (404 votes), Fabian Jones (384 votes), Lincoln Burton (379 votes), James (T C) Beazer (376 votes). They join George "Profit" Burton (BPMC), Dave Desouza (BPM), Arthur Nibbs (BPMC), and Everit Thomas (BPMC) on the Barbuda Council.

The new councillors will be sworn in after Easter by Mrs Dorothy Symister, the Secretary to the Council. The swearing-in will be at a meeting chaired by the representative, Trevor Walker. The Barbuda Council will be reconstituted, with new members and chairman for each committee. A new senator will be appointed; Atkinson Beazer is the current Barbuda Council appointed senator.
The Holy Trinity School debate team are in the finals of the competition. The photo shows the team of Crystal Jeffrey (second speaker), Mrs M Keazer (teacher), Kazim Thomas (first speaker), Ms Cleo Isaac (teacher), and Kerreanna Baltimore (reserve). In the semi-final HTS opposed the topic Traditional medicine should be accorded equal status to that of modern-day medicine proposed by Ottos Comprehensive. HTS were awarded 70 points to Ottos' 66.3. Crystal Jeffrey was adjudged to have been the best speaker.
The final will take place on 29 March 2005 when the influence of school and parents on young people will be debated with St Joseph's Academy.

A sitting of the Magistrate's Court was held on Monday 7, Tuesday 8, Wednesday 9, and Thursday 10 March. The proceedings started at 9 am daily in the Council Hall.
