Barbuda Council seeks Secretary
The Barbuda Council is seeking to appoint a new Secretary (Chief Executive) and invites applications for this post. All applicants should have a first degree in accountancy, law, or public administration and at least five years work experience at a senior management level. The salary is the same as a Permanent Secretary in the civil service of Antigua and Barbuda.
The main duties are to:
- prepare annual estimates of revenue and expenditure
- convene and record all Council meetings and committees and implement their decisions
- liaise with ministries in Antigua
- manage all Council staff
