We welcome long-time employees, Denise and Ray Doherty as the new managers at Coco Point Lodge.
Denise has had many years of experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotel reception management. Hotel and guest services have been an important part of her grooming. Denise gained corporate management experience as assistant and then general manager with Gucci International (Antigua).
Denise studied as a dietician in New York and became an independent entrepreneur in the catering industry. She comes to Coco Point with a wealth of knowledge in the food and beverage area.
Denise has travelled to Europe, the Middle East, and lived in the Far East, providing her with an understanding of the needs of the international traveller.
Ray followed a career as an engineer in international telecommunications when he experienced the cultures of the many countries he lived in. He has brought with him to Coco Point a vast eclectic knowledge of interacting with a variety of personalities.
Ray has spent many years living in the Caribbean working in project management and aviation. As a commercial pilot, Ray has ensured safe and trouble-free journeys to the Caribbean traveller.
Denise and Ray have been blessed with a million dollar family. Kyle, their son, is 20 years old and is pursuing studies at university. Kyle loves water sports and working out at the gym. He is also interested in sports cars, boats, and travel.
Kara, their daughter, is 18 years old. She is challenging the world in the field of international studies and law and is keen on completing a world tour as part of her education. Kara loves water sports.
